I've used Macs since around 1990 and never had a virus/trojan. In
fact I haven't bothered with virus scanning software since about
1995. I own or have owned a Classic, LC, 6400, 7220, iBook and iMac.
When working I used through successive upgrades Mac plus, Classic,
VX, an early Power PC and a Powerbook 840(?)
When my employer switched to PCs I was a holdout and refused to use them.
Macs went from brilliant to irritating in the system 7 days to
brilliant again with the current MacOSX. I do have Virtual PC running
on my iMac with Windows me - mainly so I can run a war game I'm fond
of! But I don't try anything serious with it and if it gets clobbered
by some insecurity I can just reinstall as anything important is in
the MacOS environment.
So I'm in the "great" category.
Tony
