Yes, brilliant achievement. One really useful observation in his message was
that his children had to learn to program and to do things. I think school
programs could very usefully focus on that concept. I think it's the
difference between creating artists and creating art reviewers. An awful lot
of school programs just produce reviewers.

A great solution to this problem would be to give a lot more resources to
specialist teachers, including sabbaticals in industry, for example.
Probably pay them more too. While we're at it, pay all our teachers more. A
special tax on bankers could pay for it.
