So, AuDA CEO Chris Disspain is unaware of any disputes...

I know of at least one. In the Federal Court, Mark Foys Pty Ltd challenged
the TV Shopping Network's right to use the domain name "markfoys.com" as an
e-tailing venture (and won). Note that TVSN had registered the Mark Foys
name as a .com not a .com.au presumably because of the Australian rules. The
markfoys.com domain is no longer used by TVSN.
I can't find any announcement from TVSN that it had abandoned the
markfoys.com domain, but the site is gone. The domain has been traded a
couple of times since the court case, and is currently listed to "Perfect
Gifts Australia", which picked it up in April.
