Online Curriculum Content for Australian Schools

Invitation to register interest ..

The [Australian] Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs (MCEETYA) has agreed on a substantial Initiative to ensure all Australian school children have access through their schools to high-quality online educational materials.

The aim is to create a pool of online curriculum content in objects format and to implement systems to track and manage intellectual property and copyright.

The Initiative will be implemented over five years and developed in the context of the growing innovations and knowledge economy priorities of Commonwealth, State and Territory governments.

Companies and organisations that are skilled in ICT, multimedia and / or education publishing and consultancy are invited to enter details onto the Supplier register.

This will enable them to receive a notice regarding a briefing seminar to be held at the Education Development Centre, Milner Street Hindmarsh, South Australia, Tuesday 21st August, 10.00am to 1.00pm.

The Register will be used as the main vehicle to post Initiative updates, tender information and announcements.
