GAMBLING CONVICTION UPHELD
A US federal appeals has upheld a conviction against a man
who ran an Internet sports gambling operation - outside
the USA. The fact that Jay Cohen's World Sports Exchange
is based in Antigua hasn't stopped the US courts from
sentencing him to 21 months in jail for illegally
accepting bets from Americans over the Internet and by
telephone. Cohen says he will appeal again.
