Don't forget to complain about the etax.ato.gov.au site being totally
inacessible, unlike www.ato.gov.au.
To quote from www.ato.gov.au, about this site:
<quote>
The site is accessible to people using screen reader software.
...
ATOassist has been designed to display correctly under a minimum
640x480 screen resolution. The site does not use any scripting
(Javascript, Java, Vbscript or ActiveX) and has been optimised for
version 3.0 (or later) browsers. ATOassist does not use frames and is
predominantly text-based for faster download speeds.
</quote>
To quote from etax.ato.gov.au:
<quote>
The e-tax web pages are best viewed in 800x600 resolution
</quote>
It doesn't mention that the site requires javascript to function and
has no accessibility features at all.
You would have thought that having got one site right they could have
done better on the second. I assume that it was contracted out or
something.

Gordon
