Definitely not. If I *could* use their software (I can't), I'd first
check that SSL was being used. And if not, nope, not for me.

The point being made is that the ATO should not dictate which platform
or O/S vendor one uses to access their online services.

BTW: I do use online banking because it is convenient and it
is secure. As you point out, we do have our worries about the ATO
in the area of security.
