It's going to be very interesting to see how these stats play out over
the next few years. During this period, the number of people accessing
the 'net from non-PC devices is going to increase significantly - and
it seems pretty clear already that Microsoft is not going to have the
same OS/Application stranglehold in this emerging area as it does on
the traditional desktop.

Many of these embedded/post PC devices will have custom web browsers -
either proprietary from some source other than Microsoft or based on the
open source version of Netscape (Mozilla) that is at last approaching a
1.0 release.
