Call for Membership
Dear colleagues,
ASIALEX, the Asian Association for Lexicography, was formally
inaugurated on March 29th in Hong Kong at the presence of invited
representatives from AFRILEX, AUSTRALEX and EURALEX, the
Lexicographical Association of China, and the Lexicographical
Association of India.
On the last day of the conference which was organised by the Hong Kong
University of Science and Technology entitled "Dictionaries in Asia:
research and pedagogical implications" (Saturday 29th), the first AGM
of ASIALEX was held.
