Languages & Culture
The Languages & Cultures Learning Community aims to facilitate academic development by enhancing linguistic and cultural learning experiences via 3 interdisciplinary event streams: (1) Speaker Series, (2) Social Justice, and (3) Language Tables.
This year the learning community has been involved with a number of activities, including a Speaker Series in which prominent researchers are invited as speakers, Social Justice outreach programmes in which students volunteer at charitable and developmental organisations, and Language Tables in which language instructors, students, and native speakers converse and network in an informal atmosphere.
