  • Minor surgical procedures, such as mole excision, suturing of cuts, in-grown toe nails, contraceptive hormone implants
  • Management of minor burns and sports injuries
  • Smoking cessation (QUIT) counselling
  • Psychological problems (with referral to the ANU Counselling Service if required)

DUE TO SEASONAL ILLNESSES AND HIGH DEMAND FOR APPOINTMENTS THE HEALTH SERVICE HAS BETWEEN 20-30 DAILY APPOINTMENTS FOR URGENT CONDITIONS.

THE BEST WAY TO OBTAIN ONE OF THE APPOINTMENTS IS TO BE AT THE HEALTH SERVICE AT 0900 MONDAY-FRIDAY AND WE WILL DO OUR VERY BEST TO PROVIDE YOU WITH AN APPT FOR THAT DAY.

The information you provide to us as health professionals is personal and private. Please see our Confidentiality and Disclosure of Information policy.

If you would like to see a doctor, we advise that you ring to make an appointment before you come to the Health Service. If you attend without an appointment and your matter is not urgent, you may be asked to make an appointment at a later time or date.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let the Health Service know as soon as possible as demand for an appointment is high.
