Billing

The University Health Service "Bulk-Bills" Australian students through Medicare and International students through their Overseas Student Health Cover. The ANU preferred providers are World Care Assist and Medibank. Those using any other provider will be required to pay for the consultation and claim through their insurance.

Certain consultations, such as medical examinations for insurance purposes, or employment medicals, are not covered under this scheme and you will need to pay by cash or credit card.

Staff are charged at a discount rate and payment is required on the day of consultation.

All others including the spouses and children of all other University students and staff may use the services but will be charged at the full rate of $75 for a standard consultation.

ANU Australian students - bulkbilled

ANU International students and their families who are covered with WCA or Medibank - Bulk billed.

Staff - $52 - Standard consultation

All others - $75 - Standard consultation
