Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Scholarship (1 available)
The scholarship is normally awarded for three years and meets tuition for any PhD program plus an annual stipend and certain additional allowances including travel allowances. You will need to have completed the equivalent of an Australian Bachelor degree with First Class Honours or a Master degree which includes research training. You will also need an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no component less than 6.0 or 230 in Computer-based TOEFL with an Essay score of 4.5 (570 in Paper-based TOEFL with TWE of 4.5).

How to Apply
1. Download and complete the Scholarship Application Form
Ensure that when you send in your application form, all required accompanying documents are sent along with it (further instructions and details can be found on the form)
2. Apply for admission to a graduate degree program
3. Check the "Other" box at Question 15 and write in "Japan Alumni PhD"
4. Send both forms and all the required documents to the:

Closing Date: the closing date for applications is Friday, 1 May. All applications must be posted by that date to be considered for the scholarship. Applications should be sent to the above address by Courier or by registered mail to ensure that the postal date is noted.
