Central Scholarships Committee

The Divisional Committee structures include two Scholarships Committees which rank research degree student applications for IPRS, APA and GSS research scholarships on the basis of Graduate Studies Convenors' recommendations.

The committees meet separately and then together to consider cross-Divisional cases and cut-off scores.

Function and Mode of Operation

Each of the two Committees is responsible to the relevant Divisional Education Committee for:

• Determining the order of merit list of applicants in the Division for ANU scholarships funded by the Australian Government or other external sponsors of central scholarships
• The selection of students in the Division and across the division for ANU centrally funded scholarships
