Sir Raymond Firth Endowment

This Endowment was established in 2001 to commemorate the role of Sir Raymond Firth in the foundation of the Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies (RSPAS). Sir Raymond Firth was a distinguished anthropologist who specialised in the studies of the Asia Pacific.

This Endowment supports a Sir Raymond Firth Travel Award in Anthropology for a final year PhD student in anthropology and a Sir Raymond Firth Thesis Prize in Anthropology. This Endowment continues to build and we would welcome further donations from those wishing to support the field of anthropology at ANU.
