ANU Paleontological Collection Endowment

The ANU Palaeontology Collection Endowment supports curatorial work to ensure that the Collection continues to be made available for research. The Endowment also maintains the collection in its entirety and supports PhD scholarships in paleontological research. The Collection is best known in paleontological circles as housing the world's largest collection of fossil vertebrates (back-boned animals) from the 400 million year old Devonian limestone deposits around Lake Burrinjuck, to the northwest of Canberra. With the help of your donation, this Endowment will grow to a substantial level to ensure that the fossil collection is not only preserved for future researchers, but also made more publicly available.
