508 Business Information Reports on Companies

The following reports are available to the University:

Historical Company Extract

This report is based on information from the Australian Securities Commission (ASC) and provides incorporation or registration details and general background information including:

• names of directors and secretary;
• principal location of business;
• shareholders and share structure;
• ultimate holding company;
• lodgement details of ASC returns and forms;
• lodgement details of annual returns.

Relevant court actions and past business failures are also documented.
 

D&B Report

This is the most common report used by the University for analysis of Australian companies. The report includes information such as:

• company history;
• business and operational summary;
• background on executives;
• financial details including structure and company extract from ASC returns;
• payment history / defaults;
• adverse data including collections, court actions and registered charges;
• results of statistical modeling to measure the probability of a business experiencing financial distress in the next 12 months;
• the probability of a business paying in a delinquent manner (90 days or more beyond terms) during the next 12 months. Significant factors driving the score are also listed.

Financial Profile Report

The Financial Profile Report is a spreadsheet containing up to three year's financial statements with item by item analysis, industry comparisons and calculation of the Key Business Ratios most widely used in business today.  It compares the company of your choice to the rest of the industry.
 

Industry Norm Report

Provides you with a 3 year comparison of a specific Industries' financial information divided into 3 quarterlies for comparison.
 

International Business Report

A full and investigative report including in-depth information on Payment history, Adverse information, Registered charges, Latest financial accounts (if available), Directors/owners and shareholders, History and operational details, Related companies and associated companies.
