101.1 Purpose of the Finance and Business Manual
The Finance and Business Manual of The Australian National University details
the financial and business policies and procedures that are to be followed
by all managers so as to fulfil their accountability requirements.
It also describes the policies and procedures that will contribute to the
effective and efficient financial administration of the University.
The Finance and Business Manual is to be read subject to any other Act
or law that is applicable to the financial management of the University.
The Finance and Business Manual emphasises that it is the responsibility
of all managers of the University to ensure that operating procedures and
policies in their areas of responsibility are consistent with the requirements
of the Manual and be accountable for the areas of responsibility under
their control.
