MS Symposium: Improving health for people with Multiple Sclerosis

Presented by ANU College of Health & Medicine

Welcome to the second Canberra MS Symposium hosted by JCSMR and NCEPH at ANU.

This year's edition of the Symposium focuses on improving life for people with MS. We have an exciting line-up of local and national experts, including Dr Steven Petratos from Monash University, Dr Phu Hoang from UNSW, as well as Dr Anne Bruestle from the ANU John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR).

The first workshop of the ANU Grand Challenge winner 2017 "Our Health in Our Hands" will take place as part of the Symposium. The ANU Grand Challenge is a big picture, cross-disciplinary research project aiming to advance personalised healthcare. MS is one of the diseases the Grand Challenge team focuses on. This workshop, run by Dr Jane Desborough and Associate Professor Christine Phillips, will bring together patients and researchers to discuss the challenges and opportunities of continuous disease monitoring.
