Korea-Australia relations during a time of transition

Recent developments on the Korean peninsula are promising an end to a stalemate in peace negotiations between North and South. The political and economic implications for the two Koreas and their allies are enormous and they are challenging alliances. In association with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, and with its generous support, the ANU Korea Institute is hosting a one-day Symposium on the future of peninsula and the many issues that affect it. Featuring key analysts from Australia and Korea, it seeks to identify the pathways to success and the possible causes of failure.
