Residents of the UK can now support Australia’s National University through donations to the ANU (UK) Foundation.  ANU (UK) Foundation (Registered Charity Number: 1123279) is a company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales (Registered Company Number: 6436055), Registered Office: 12 The Courtyard, Ladycross Business Park, Hollow Lane, Lingfield, United Kingdom RH7 6PB.

The Foundation is registered with the UK Charity Commission and is overseen by a distinguished Board of Directors.

How to donate to the ANU (UK) Foundation

Please make cheques payable to ANU (UK) Foundation, indicating whether you would like your gift to support Scholarships, Prizes, Research support or Other.

Increase the potential of your gift

  • Using the Gift Aid scheme the ANU UK Foundation can reclaim 28p from the Inland Revenue for every £1 you donate, at no further cost to you. 
  • If you pay a higher rate of tax you can claim further tax relief for the donation on your tax return.
  • Gifts to the ANU UK Foundation are exempt from Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax.  Leaving a bequest to the Foundation can reduce the amount of any tax payable out of your estate by a significant amount.
