| I joined ANU in 1985 and worked
as an administrator in RSES for 12 years after which time I resigned
from ANU and ventured into the private sector. After about 12
months I returned to ANU and worked through the ANU Casual Employment
Office for 18 months and eventually secured a permanent position
as the Dean's Assistant in the Mathematical Sciences Institute,
a position I held for 6 years. Last year my husband and I left
our respective jobs and moved to the South Coast where we now
live. At the moment I am doing relief work again through the ANU
Casual Employment Office and enjoying the flexibility of being
able to work and take time off when it suits me.
I had just purchased my first digital camera when I heard that
ANU was holding a photographic calendar competition. So, not being
an experienced photographer, I thought I would take some photos,
see how they turned out and enter a few "just for a bit of
fun" not for one moment thinking that any of them would be
chosen, as I wasn't sure what the judges would be looking for.
I tried to capture images which would portray campus life.
