I am doing my PhD at the Research School of Earth Sciences. When
I am not in front of the computer or working in the lab, or asleep,
I enjoy walking by the lake and admiring the night sky.
Autumn is my favourite season. I love the way
it livens up the campus with bright colours, especially the happy
colour, yellow. One Sunday in April as I was crossing the bridge
across the Hancock Library, I was fascinated by the yellow leaves
falling on Sullivan’s Creek. When I looked into the creek
and I was amazed at how clear and lovely and serene the reflection
was: the clear blue sky and the trees made a wonderful backdrop
for the yellow leaves afloat. It was just picture perfect.
