The Inaugural ANU Autumn Festival was held in 2006. As the autumn leaves began to fall across the campus, groups from across the campus came to help celebrate the first Autumn Festival at ANU.
Community memebers joined the campus-wide procession and followed the Bagpiper to University Avenue, where a lunchtime program of music, dancing, tree tours, and stalls laden with delicious food was experienced by all.
Each group created its own ‘parade stick’ to carry during the procession vying for a $500 prize.
The Autumn Festival was a time for everyone at ANU to have fun, enjoy the company of friends, and salute the seasonal splendour of the campus.
