Accommodation: We generally suggest
people stay at University
House. ($126 per night with breakfast included.) This is a
short walk (five minutes) from Old Canberra House, where the conference

Getting around the University: The conference
will be held at Old Canberra House is in Liversidge Street, Acton.
This is on the grounds of the university. Here is a map

Getting around Canberra: The bus route to the
University is no 34. If you are travelling to Old Canberra House
from the city, get off at the stop past the National Museum of
Australia (ask the bus driver). See Canberra
Buses
There is also a private shuttle bus (Deane’s
Buslines) from the airport to the city, departing every 30
minutes during the day Monday to Friday and every hour one the
weekends. It departs out the front of the airport just before
the Virgin Airlines entry. The last time one of us caught it,
it cost $7 one way and $12 return.
