Making an appointment

For students

Appointments are available between 9:00am to 5:00pm weekdays. (Closed Public Holidays.)

The Counselling Centre offers two kinds of appointments to students:

  • normal sessions are 50 minutes long. During the quiet part of term it is usually possible to make an appointment for a normal session within a few days however during the busier periods there may be a longer waiting period.
  • short appointments. Each day we do have a limited number of short (1/2 hour) appointments which can only be booked on the day of the appointment.  You can ring us on 6125 2442 or come in to the Centre to arrange one of these.  Contact us early in the day to maximize your chances of getting a short appointment, as they can fill up very early.
To make an appointment you can:
  • visit the Centre which is located immediately above the Health Service on North Road (near the Purple Pickle Cafe).
  • telephone on 6125 2442 (ext 52442).

The Centre's opening hours are from 9:00am to 4:45pm weekdays, closed from 1:00pm to 2:00pm for lunch.
