Record of Invention

The Record of Invention describes procedures by which inventions (IP with commercial potential) will be disclosed and recorded. This allows the University to protect the IP and potentially exploit it for commercial profit. The record of invention may also be used to confirm the priority date for the invention in the event of disputes over patenting.
