Professor Keith Houghton, Convener of the ANU College of Business and Economics, is respected internationally for helping to maintain the integrity of auditing and, especially, auditor independence. Having recently completed a period at the Australian Auditing and Assurance Standards Board, he now joins the Council of the American Accounting Association.
