The training involves a theory session on the Friday evening (1st Feb), at Shellharbour (in the campground). All Survey Training participants are required to attend. There will also be two shore dives on either Saturday or Sunday depending which group you are in, probably at the Gravel Loader or Bushrangers Bay.
There are only 16 places (two groups of 8) on this course. You dont need to be club member for the training as it will not be using the club boats or SRA insurance. However, you will need to check out this PDF file and let Jen Hine know ASAP if you want to participate. There are some (minimal) dive experience requirements, and a form to fill out - Jen will email this to you.
Please note that if you are not a club member, you will not be able to hire club gear or use the club boats (and there are no exceptions).
