The ANU Climate Change Institute recently hosted Dr Sybil Seitzinger, Executive Director of the International Geosphere and Biosphere Programme (IGBP). Dr Seitzinger visited Canberra for a series of engagements at ANU, CSIRO, the Australian Academy of Science and the Australian Government Deptartment of Climate Change. Dr Seitzinger’s personal areas of expertise include biogeochemistry, nutrient dynamics, and land/atmosphere/ocean interactions.

Dr Mark Stafford-Smith is the Science Director at the CSIRO Climate Adaptation Flagship and Dr Roger Gifford is the Chair of the Australian Academy of Earth System Science at the Australian Academy of Science.
