Description:
“I’ve chosen this picture because I think it reflects the attitude that many people have towards the natural environment.  The day I took the picture of the ship, there was a huge storm, coming from the sea. We camped in the centre of the island, so we were unworried.  However, that night after dinner, the ranger came and told us to evacuate the island the next day because there was a cyclone forecasted.  As soon as he left we had to organise the evacuation.  The following day, early in the morning we drove through the coast with the low tide, the cyclone was close and massive waves were touching the car, we were in panic, but we did it.”
