Public concern about the environment in general, and about the long-term effects of global warming in particular, have risen considerably over the past decade across many countries. The third ANU poll examines public opinion towards a wide range of environmental issues and policies in Australia. Topics covered include: concern about the environment, individual behaviour aimed at protecting the environment, attitudes towards global warming, support for nuclear energy and uranium mining, and willingness to pay to protect the environment.
