New Shade Sail for Toddler Playground The February storms caused some damage to the Shade Sail in the Toddler playground causing one of the support poles to bend and lift out of the ground and tears in the Sail itself. Luckily we were insured and the insurance company agreed to cover the cost of repairs. After some dramas with the work it has now been completed and we now have a new supporting pole and Sail installed. |

Preschool Playground Upgrade In March 2007, The hill in the Preschool Playground received a much needed revamp. With the drought it had become impossible to get grass to grow on the hill and the dust was causing problems for some of our children with Asthma. Also whenever we did get a heavy downpour it washed the dirt away eroding the hill. The hill has now been covered in a recycled rubber soft-fall material in bright colours which has improved the look and utilisation of the area. This work was made possible due to the generosity of the ANU who funded the project. |

Fee Increase From the first of January 2007 fees will be increasing to $290 for a full-time place or $60 per day for a part-time place. This increase has been necessary to cover the cost of staff pay increases as a result of the fourth and final increment of the award decision of May 2005 and rising costs. |
