Enrolment

Blocks

Students and staff attending The Australian National University, and a proportion of the wider community, are invited to enrol children from 4 weeks to school age.

The Centre maintains an enrolment waiting list for children. Applications can be made through the Director or by completing the online application form. ANU staff and students are given priority over parents working, studying or looking for work in the wider community. Siblings of children already in attendance are also given priority.

An application for enrolment is an application for the waiting list only. The Centre cannot guarantee a place upon application. Students and staff of the ANU moving from overseas should be aware that a place may not be available at the Centre by the time they arrive and alternative arrangements may have to be made.

Other Child Care Providers

There are two other child care providers on the ANU campus: the Heritage Child Care Centre and the Acton Early Child Care Centre. Both centres are quite close the the UPCCC.

The ACT Department of Education, Youth and Family Services has a list of preschools, a list of day care centres and a list of family day care schemes.
