Clear policies and procedures are important to ensure the implementation of consistent and quality practices across the service. The Management Committee, in consultation with families, the Director and educators, formulates policies on all issues relating to the health and safety of the children and the day to day running of the service.

At Heritage, we endeavour to write policies which genuinely support our educators and families to provide the best possible care for enrolled children during the most crucial part of their development. Policies are living documents which must be reviewed regularly to ensure they are up to date with legislative requirements and reflect current best practice. Input from all sections of the Heritage community is sought during the review process and is a very important part of our continual improvement process. The Heritage Director is always happy to answer questions about Heritage policies and procedures.

Famlies will receive a Policy Handbook on enrolment. In addition there are Policy Folders in the Front Foyer, Main Office and Staff Room. The following policies are available on-line in pdf format. To read pdf files you will need Acrobat Reader

Code of Ethics for Families and Educators
Illness Policy
Late and Non-Collection of Children Policy
Non-Compliance Policy
General Grievance Management Policy
