Fees

Current fees at Acton Early Childhood Centre are (effective 6th January 2009):

Full time $335.00 per week
Part time $68.00 per day

Fees are payable two weeks in advance; accounts are given out at the centre fortnightly on Fridays.

If your child would normally attend on a day which is a Public Holiday, fees will be charged as usual. However, you may be able to arrange a make-up day at no charge if a space is available.

On commencement of care, a Holding Fee is payable. This serves as a 'bond' and is refunded when the child is withdrawn from the centre, provided that two weeks' notice is given in writing. The holding fee is $100.00 per child.

There is also an annual Membership Feeof $16.50 per family (or $8.25 if commencing after July 1).

Child Care Benefit is available through the Family Assistance Office, which sends a copy of your assessment to the centre. Some level of Child Care Benefit is available to most families by registering with the Family Assistance Office.
