~ ÒPlayschoolÓ may be offered along with other planned activities.

~ Preschool can choose to watch ÒPlayschoolÓ in the morning or afternoon.

~ Toddlers are able to watch ÒPlayschoolÓ in the afternoon.

á     Occasionally Preschool or Toddlers may choose to watch another ABC childrenÕs program instead of ÒPlayschoolÓ if staff feel it is of value and appropriate.

á     Children watching television should always be given an alternative activity.

á     Staff are encouraged to sit with children to provide suitable explanation and discussion of programs.

á     DVDs brought into the Centre from home will not be viewed unless they were requested by staff. Such DVDs need to be educational and will be previewed by staff to ensure that they are appropriate.
