Topic that will be covered during the course include:
- designing for tapestry
- warping up the loom
- weaving a sampler
- weaving a major work
- mounting and finishing off the major work
By the end of the course, you should:
- be able to warp up a loom so that they can continue to weave independently
- be able to weave a variety of techniques such as colour gradation, hatching, half passing and interpretation of a small design
- finish a small sample piece and weave a larger mounted work.
