This 12-week course will explore the use of found and secondhand materials in small sculpture. Over the course we will investigate how to join unlikely materials, methods for re-making objects and experiment with using the inherent meaning of a found object in small sculptures.

Steel structures is an introductory course to the equipment and processes associated with steel fabrication including Mig welding, Oxy-acetylene cutting, forging, and hand tools. Participants are invited to design and construct a work using a selection of supplied steel formats
