This is a hands-on course in creating bronze sculptures up to 5Kg. wt.
using the traditional Investment Lost-Wax Casting process. Participants
learn multiple techniques for creating their own sculpture in wax, then
how to sprue, invest, cast, chase, and patinate their own piece to gallery
display quality. Recommended: all levels.

Casting the body

This course explores the human form through the process of casting from
the body. The project is designed to allow students to experience hands-
on casting techniques and applications to re-produce parts of the human
form. Students will investigate various materials and applications to
produce a series of sculptural forms. This course is recommended for
beginners.

Steel structures for everyone

Steel structures is an introductory course to the equipment and processes
associated with steel fabrication including Mig welding, Oxy-acetylene
cutting, forging, and hand tools. Participants are invited to design
and construct a work using a selection of supplied steel formats (bar,
plate, pipe, etc).
