Creating your own short film project

This course focuses on learning the basics of scriptwriting, filming and editing in order to produce a short film. This course will use the facilities of the Photography and Media Arts Department to guide students from the preproduction stage all the way to the postproduction stage.

Would suit beginners or continuing students. Participants will be encouraged and supported to pursue printing in a creative and independent manner. Darkroom time will be optimised for experimentation and the development of ideas and concepts.

An introduction to digital photography and how to get the best results from your digital camera. The course aims to build camera skills develop image composition, introduce Photoshop using Apple Macintosh computers and develop print skills. The classes include two “hands on” weekend excursions. Recommended for beginners.
