developing their own working processes centered on visual creativity
and the preparation of a portfolio for submission to an Art School or

Portrait and figure painting

Participants in the course will be taught the elements of colour, pictorial
composition and paint manipulation to enable them to record their observations
of the face and figure in an interesting and expressive way. Students

Sculpture for mosaics

Learn to build a sculptural form of your choice beginning with a wire
armature and then model the outer form in cement. You will then learn
how to apply the mosaic finishing with the grout. For examples of this
