Centre for Continuing Education - Visual Arts Access

Welcome to the ANU School of Art

One of the most satisfying things that the ANU, School of Art is able to do is to open its doors to members of the ACT community. The School is delighted with the continuing strong interest in our wide ranging Visual Arts Access/Open Art (VAA/OA) classes organised through the ANU Centre for Continuing Education. The classes are timetabled at the School of Art most evenings during the semester with some scheduled during the day and at weekends. They are conducted by talented local artists with the teaching expertise to ensure the VAA/OA meets the needs of our many students in all areas.

In 2010, the ACT Government through the Department of Urban Services Community Outreach Program continued its assistance for the VAA/OA Program. This funding enables easier access and participation for all participants. A further reduction is available for concession card holders. The ANU School of Art acknowledges the ACT Government’s strong support for our program, warmly welcomes the 2010 VAA/OA students and extends best wishes for artistic success and enjoyment during the year.
