Workshop fee covers the cost of firings and incidentals in the ceramics workshop
Participants will be required to cover the cost of additional materials such as clay on a per class basis

Ceramics - handbuilding

Exploring a variety of handbuilding techniques – coils, slabs, pinched & hollowed solid forms with special consideration to surface treatments – students will explore their personal styles. The course is designed for all levels of experience with clay (will teach all levels in the same class, including demonstration of handbuilding techniques and surface decoration).

Making functional pottery and developing a personal wheelwork style

This is a fifteen week course designed for beginner to intermediate level potters with an interest in acquiring or improving on their wheelwork skills, and developing a personal throwing style. The course will respond to the requirements and abilities of the students, aiming to increase the scale of the pots that can be made. For those who have completed semester one this is a continuation. Recommended: Beginner/intermediate
