Understanding statistics

Statistics can set you free from misconceptions, urban myths as well as giving you a clearer picture of the impact of various policies. If you have see reports in the media that use statistics to propose this or that, how do you know if it is or is not appropriate. Understanding and using statistics can equip you with a better understanding of statistics and enable you to use them to develop your own arguments and viewpoints.
