Learn to relax in a day

Learn and practice a number of proven and effective relaxation techniques. These will include: muscle relaxation, breathing techniques, meditation and mindfulness, visualisation and self suggestion. You can use these techniques to relax the body, calm the mind, control your emotions, manage stress and achieve goals.

Managing fear and perfectionism skilfully

Mastering counselling skills

This first level course explains the basic counselling skills used to help clients to clarify issues, examine options and solutions, and then develop strategies to achieve goals. Practical issues are discussed and there is a brief introduction to the Enneagram (personality typing).

Movement for everyone: using the Feldenkrais Method

We will introduce you to the Feldenkrais Method of movement in order to improve aspects of physical movement like breathing, flexibility and relaxation. At the same it can improve facilities of concentration, attention and awareness. Suitable for all ages and will provide skills for continued self-development and home practice.

The Alexander Technique – a skill for life

Good posture should be comfortable, effortless and sustainable. Get a practical introduction to the basic principles of good body-use, and how it relates to everyday activities like work and exercise, and to avoid injury.

The Alexander Technique is a means of achieving a high standard of poise, breathing and general function. Learn how to exercise with good body-use, minimising the risk of injury. This is a brief introduction to maintaining fitness without injury.
