Audit program

About the CCE audit program

The Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) offers access to approved ANU undergraduate courses for people who want to listen in to lectures without actually enrolling as a degree student. Auditors (listeners) do not generally require any special qualifications except for those courses where prerequisites are necessary - this can be ascertained by consulting the current ANU Undergraduate Handbook.

Lecture times and venues

On-campus audit students attend on-campus lectures only, and cannot participate in tutorials.
Online audit students only have access to the course website, but not to Wattle, and therefore cannot attend the online sessions. Online audit students do not correspond with or get feedback from the lecturers.

Use of libaries

Students enrolled in the audit program are eligible for special borrowing rights with the campus libraries. These students should register at the Circulation Desk at the Chifley, Hancock or Menzies Library. They must present their CCE Student Card and pay the required fee. This library card expires 31 December each year regardless of the time of year registered. Credit card/EFTPOS facilities are available at all these buildings.

The ANU library catalogue can be accessed by all borrowers in all main libraries. The ANU library catalogue can be accessed from off campus through the Library's web page at http://anulib.anu.edu.au

Accreditation

Auditing will not be accepted as credit towards a degree program therefore students may not sit formal examinations.

Parking on campus

Parking restrictions apply at ANU campus. Audit students will only have access to the limited voucher parking areas on campus. When parking please check the signs to ensure you do not incur a parking fine or visit the visitor parking web page.
