
Blackwell Publishing, incorporating Blackwell Science and Blackwell Publishers, is pleased to offer CAUL and CONZUL members the opportunity to purchase the full Collection of online journals from Blackwell Publishers for 2001.

Question: Do BS/M collection and the BPL Collection
together now cost A$6,015?
Answer: The Collections are in fact A$6,015 each,
so that an institution wanting both the Social Sciences and Humanities
Collection (BPL) and the STM (BS/M) Collection would need to pay A$12,030
total.

Print + electronic = 110% of print price;
Electronic-only is 15% discount off print for 50+ titles
for the STM Collection.
Although Blackwell Science and Blackwell Publishers have merged, the two lists are being treated as separate entities/packages for the foreseeable future.
Blackwell Publishers provides publishing services to some of the world's leading social science and humanities associations. There are 275 titles on the list for 2001. The majority have been available electronically for four years: this would provide CAUL and CONZUL members with over 1000 electronic volumes. Site Fee
Libraries will already have electronic access to the titles to which they subscribe in print. Electronic access will be extended to the full Collection of 275 titles, for a flat fee of A$6,015 per Site in 2001, provided that year 2000 paper subscriptions are maintained.
If any cancellation(s) have already been made, the title(s) concerned may be reinstated or a supplementary payment made, in order to be eligible for Collection access.
The Site fee includes:-
Username/Password and/or IP address access is currently available through ingenta (www.ingenta.com) at no additional charge. There is a Blackwell Publisher’s portal on ingenta’s website, and a validation system that allows users to access all relevant journals.
Following the merger of Blackwell Science and Blackwell Publishers, it is the aim of Blackwell Publishing, to have loaded all Blackwell Publishers titles onto Synergy by the end of 2002, so that libraries accessing the Blackwell Publishers titles electronically, can enjoy all the benefits offered by this state-of-the-art online journal delivery service.
