In 1999, a preliminary selection of
full-text electronic journals from Churchill Livingstone and W.B. Saunders
Ltd. became available on IDEAL. In January 2000, 43 additional full-text
medical journals will be accessible on IDEAL. The latest journals include;
23 titles from Churchill Livingstone, 13 from W.B. Saunders Ltd., and 6
journals from Bailliere Tindall. The

Current IDEAL subscribers have the option to add Churchill Livingstone, W.B. Saunders and Baillere Tindall journals to their xisting APPEAL (Academic Press Print and Electronic Access License) license. This means that authorized IDEAL users will have the same access privileges for the 60 medical journals as they have enjoyed for their Academic Press titles. In addition, the Churchill Livingstone, W.B. Saunders Ltd. and Baillere Tindall collection will be offered to new licensees under the same terms as the APPEAL license.
