Overview

The ANU Careers Centre provides a wide range of careers and employment services for ANU students, recent graduates, and university faculties and schools. Careers Centre staff have a broad knowledge of the graduate employment market and extensive experience in careers education and counselling. We are here to help students clarify their career goals and facilitate their access to graduate employment.

The Careers Centre recently received a Vice Chancellors Award for Innovation and Excellence in Service Quality for the Centre’s online student system, CareerHub.

Our services include:

• Graduate and casual employment listings on CareerHub
• Vacation and work experience opportunities on CareerHub
• Resume and interview advice
• Career development seminars and workshops
• Customised career education programs
• Employer presentation program
• Careers fairs
• Careers resource centre (books and multimedia)
• Student computers and printer for career related activity
• Individual careers counselling
• Weekly drop-in sessions: Mondays 11am–12.30pm, Wednesdays 2pm–4pm, Fridays 9.30am–11.30am
• Computer-based career guidance
• Free publications including:
  • Career Launch for all ANU students
  • A Degree of Certainty – a publication for postgraduate research students
