Emilie's research has primarily focussed on the impacts and mechanisms of environmental weed invasion from landscape to biochemical scales. Her broader activities have been in Australian weed societies, as a consultant for the Federal environment department and private landscape restoration companies, bush regeneration volunteering and University lecturing. Her passion for the environment and social justice brought her to CAEPR where she is part of the People of Country project and will work with Indigenous Ranger groups in Arnhem Land and the Gulf to improve their monitoring and reporting capacity.
